In principal we had the same experience
From Texas, son 15 is 6'5 185 TE. Went to the padded camp. This is where our stories diverge. I dropped my boys off and went fishing. Ton of fun, boulder mountain is great fun. They played 7:7 and it was round robin. Came back on Thursday to find out my boy didn't get an offer. Was I disappointed? nope. Did he learn a lot yes. I went up to coach Sitaki and thanked him. It was obvious he had other stuff going on but he was gratuitous any way. And we came home since the camp my boy has been putting in the work as you might say lifting 1-2 times a day running sprints etc. I hope it helps your boy too.
