Happens at all camps--the coaches only play the kids they want to see in 7 on 7
If your kid isn't on their list or your kid doesn't impress in other parts of the camp, he won't see the field for 7 on 7. I personally think it is wrong on multiple levels and everyone should get some 7 on 7 reps to show what they can do. I took my oldest son to 4 or 5 camps a few years ago and the 7 on 7 was done the same way. Lots of kids standing and watching the same top campers compete.
