I completely agree with this perspective, but . . .
I think the coaches can do everything that you outlined at their camp, in terms of evaluating the top prospects, and also cut out time in the day for the non-prospects to get scrimmage time. The coaches may not be looking much at the non-prospects when they are playing, but you still need to give them time. Perhaps it make for a longer day for the coaches to do this, but it's the right way to do it.
