It is still relevant today. My kids will be going for their 2nd and 3rd yr next
Week.

By basketball camp is not about skill development. It is about getting kids on campus in a good environment more than anything. At least that has been my observation.

After watching my older son the first year I decided I would help coach so that whatever group I could get would get a little bit of skill development. There is no time for any significant skill development and I wouldn't recommend anyone go to the camp for that reason. But if they are looking for a great positive experience for their kid on BYU CPUs and don't get into the efy things like my kids, I would highly recommend it.

I will be coaching again this year and love the time I have with my boys even though they aren't developing any skills really. But they are having fun.
