It's probably bigger than that. Per Criddle, BYUtv is now providing revenue
to the athletic department. This is possible because BYUtv has all the rights to BYU sports via the special clause in the ESPN contract. This includes all home FB games as well as away games that air on ESPN. The MWC is heavily tied into CBS for their broadcast rights. To the extent that BYUtv provides additional revenue (the thread yesterday implied it is a big chunk of the $17M non-allocated revenue), that would also be impacted by a move to the MWC.
