What the difference is between our TV contract and the lowest P5 conferences TV contract is. Yes, it's pennies. And no, I'm not judging Independence on 1 bad season... I'm judging it on the whole.

We are an absolute NON-FACTOR every single season after September 30. Go look at our TV ratings... it tells the tale... Why? Cause while everyone in FBS and FCS is playing for a conference championship, literally everyone but 4 teams. And 1 of those teams has a tie in with a P5 conference that actually makes them interesting. We are a nobody after September... and if we by some dumb luck do find ourselves getting some attention in October, we literally drop off the entire map in one of the most important months in all of a college football... November. Why? Cause we're playing FCS quality teams... we aren't playing for any kind of conference championship... if we have 6 wins at this point our bowl game is set... heck, if we were undefeated at that point, our bowl game is set.... cause yes, the High ranked G5 team is always going to get a New Years Day bowl game 100% of the time over BYU... cause they have a contract for it to be so. BYU doesn't. This last season was the only freaking season in which there was an outside chance for 2 G5's or 1 G5 and BYU could have had a chance at a New Years day bowl.

Our TV ratings past September start to significantly drop... actually it's after the Utah game that they have sucked. We've not improved at all as a program since going Independent... NONE! We've not had a significant upgrade to the stadium since they tore out some bleachers and put in the blue and white seats on the east side.

We aren't ever going to take a New Years day bowl slot away from a P5... and the New Years day bowls are obligated to take the highest ranked G5 team.

So great... awesome... we make more money then the G5 team and it gets us a big bag of nothing. Whoop-de-do! Our Y should be changed to a $... cause who cares about anything else outside of that. Our reputation stinks... and last year just solidified it, the season before we were simply just entertained with the notion that we actually had a reputation. We've been ranked once since going Independent. There is literally nothing exciting past the Utah game... and we can't even win that anymore. Apparently it would get worse if we dropped to G5... as if already losing 7 out of 7 games isn't already rock bottom... but let's pretend it's not.


You all takes the most meaningless reason why Independence is working, and act like everyone in college football cares about that. At this point I don't care if we are making UNLV Athletics kind of money. At least the product on the field would match it.
