4 or 5 NY6 caliber games? No team in the country plays that many. That would be
a recipe for failure because we will lose those games 90% of the time. P5 teams maybe play 3 NY6 caliber games.
Utah, Arizona etc are not NY6 caliber games, they are P5 games. A good recipe for BYU to have success as Independent would be to schedule 4-5 mid to lower tier P5 teams and hopefully we could win most of them along with the games against G5 and have some double digit win seasons and top 25 finishes with an occasional NY6 bowl on a special once a decade kind of year.
