How can that be when they are in the lowly MWC that doesn't give them enough money? How in the world is UCF able to accomplish what they did by being in a conference that barely puts them on TV? How was CSU able to build a new stadium with their small change TV deal that pays them nothing?

Again, I do not care what BYU makes at this point... it honestly doesn't matter because the product on the field hasn't changed at all.

TCU and Utah went to the P5... they got a bump in pay and in on field results. BYU jumped to Indy... and we got a pump in pay, and our on the field results have been ridiculous stupid.

Oh Oh... but our recruiting has been amazing since going Indy... no, no it hasn't. Our recruiting right now is exactly where we would be if we went to the MWC or AAC... check that, I honestly believe we'd improve our recruiting if we went to the AAC.

Every kid that leaves High School... left playing for a district or division title... and then a state title. College football is built for playing for a conference title, and a bowl game. The bowl games we are playing in as an Independent would be for a 3rd or 4th place MWC team. It's bad enough that we aren't in a P5... add insult to injury and tell the kids that they don't even get to play for a Conference title... which several alumni have expressed does matter a lot.

We've always made more money than most teams that were in the MWC or other Non-BCS or G5 teams... that's nothing new. Our donations have always supported our program better than anyone, and that's not going to change if we go to the AAC. Our ticket sales were always high in the MWC... they are lower now. We've not had a small attended game since the stadium was built, like we had last year... and we had 3 losing seasons as a member of the MWC.

I think your pride of not being associated with the MWC is what makes you believe Indy is working... pride comes before the fall... and we are falling.
