Most recruits already look at us as being a G5 program... sure, they don't recognize us as a MWC member because obviously we are not. Our selling point isn't playing on ESPN... most schools get ESPN televising their games. Us being on ESPN 2 times more than others isn't going to make a lick of difference. We are getting the kids right now that would be coming to BYU regardless of what conference we are in. BYU has a natural pool of recruits that will come to BYU no matter what... if we jumped to the MWC, that's not going to change. Ironically enough, if we jumped to the AAC, I actually believe we get better recruiting, because the AAC footprint is in some significant recruiting area's that opens up to BYU. That is a bigger deal to recruits than just playing on ESPN.

Our recruiting hasn't changed since going Indy from MWC... no team in the MWC has seen their recruiting change since BYU, TCU and Utah left. If BYU went back to the MWC, our recruiting won't change.
