Idaho. I also served on the school board (district over 10,000 students) as the

chairman. We were looking for teachers some, but could always fill if needed. Here is my point in regards to supply and demand. If half the people currently going to school to become teachers decided it’s not fiscally worth it the shortage would become so large that there would be no choice but to drastically raise the wage. If the status quo stays as it currently is they will continue to be paid accordingly.
