This is accurate to an extent.
My argument is that the salary has been set at what it is, and now the law of supply and demand is filling those positions with talent that warrants that salary. If the current teachers think they are underpaid they need to go find employment elsewhere. The issue is that many of them would be out of work if the pay got doubled.
