Aren’t teachers evaluated annually on the academic progress of their students?
Every industry evaluates their employees on the how they perform. I would think pretesting and post testing of students in a class would provide the data necessary to evaluate a teacher’s ability to advance student progress. If they weren’t advancing their students progress they should be let go. The public are paying for what they are getting right now. Some pay increase is necessary if performance increases. Are math and science teachers paid more than social science teachers? I would think they would be easier to get than math/science teachers. I would also think it would be harder to retain math/science teachers. I assume I will be labeled as stupid as one poster labeled other posters.
