Hypothetically, a kid has an opportunity to play with a REALLY high profile AAU
Team with all the perks (free gear, shoes, travel) and exposure that comes with that.........BUT........its a big burden on the family because said team is based 2hrs away and the kid can't drive for almost another year. At least 2 trips per week for practice. 2 hrs there 2 hour practice and 2 hrs back. Hypothetically, the kid comes from a big family with lots of siblings all active in sports. So not an easy task.......
It would also require hurting some feelings and possibly relationships with the local team the kid has played for.

Would it help this kid along the path of achieving his dreams or should he stay local and play for a pretty good team with a lot less exposure but where he would be THE go to guy? With the new team he might not play as much but when he did it would be against great competition on big stages.

What say ye CB,....hypothetically?
