Keep the end in mind. If you’re looking for a B1G/ACC schollie may want to go for it. If your focus is any D1 schollie then maybe, if the goal is just to get college paid for at a decent school, you may be able to spend the time more wisely.
Also, I’ve found it depends on how driven the child is. If he’s 100% focused on learning and developing his skills and talents you might be able to find a private coach who can help with those things and save you time and money.
