My son played basketball at a small college and that experience changed his life.

I think he is a better man now because of that experience. All the time and effort that he's spent working on his craft has now been turned toward the other parts of his life. He is much more disciplined and responsible because of that experience of being a college student athlete.

I don't recommend it for everybody but it did work out for my son.
