That’s a tough choice.

There’s no doubt that the higher profile team would offer better exposure to D1 programs.

At what cost though? How capable will he be of balancing the rest of his schedule? What will that do to his grades?

What will that do to the rest of your family? You’re other kids?

When he can drive will you really feel comfortable letting him drive that far alone twice a week?

For me personally it would still be too much.

I think I have seen video of your son play before in another FO thread. If it is the same kid he is very good. In my opinion somebody will find that talent even on the local team. He won’t go unnoticed.

You might have to be a little more active in your role of getting his name and film to the coaches than you otherwise might have needed to be with the better team. It’s still possible though.
