Is he playing high school ball now? Is he playing up?
For me the travel for practice would be a deal breaker. That’s too far.
I am all for supporting my kid. I have a son that same age and we have traveled all over for baseball, basketball and football.
I get the allure of the high profile team. If it were closer I would recommend it.
That distance though and time traveling for practice would be too much.
Especially if he has a good team already, even though not as high profile.
