The lie, IMO, comes from the inability for all students to meet a certain level
The educational system in the US has a lot of issues, but getting students to a base level of understanding should not be one of them. Doing away with the standardized testing requirement will do more harm than good. Changing it to allow for those that are more disadvantaged would be a better solution than dropping it. If students aren't able to achieve a certain level in HS, what makes you think they can survive in a college setting? It devalues college, and furthers the agenda of pushing athletes to college to compete in sports without the intention of achieving in school.

Removing educational standards to allow for racial equity? disagree.
Changing existing educational standards to allow for better opportunities for those with socio-economic disadvantages. agree.

I agree there is a problem. I disagree with the solution, and with the labeling of the solution.
