To expect every kid to get an A is wrong, and impossible. I think most can agree on that. I do, however, think every kid can get a C, regardless of what their background is. If the NCAA wanted to push outreach programs to help aid in students to reach that level, I would have absolutely 0 issue with it, as that would accomplish the same goal while still valuing college standards and would do more for socio-economic improvement for these kids born into harsh scenarios they had no control over.
That, and I dislike calling it something that will help racial equity. This does nothing for the educated minority. This would affect the lower-socio-economic white kid. It helps the poor. Just call it that. No need for political tags.
