Apparently more than a little upset. The tier 1 games were going to be sold to
Amazon for streaming no traditional TV for their best games! Yikes.
Even the NFL has seen a reduction in viewership with Amazon
So from Monty. ASU,UA, OR and WA refused to sign the 7 year GOR for $25M/year
Klavikoff has lost all power over decisions it is now back to the school Presidents. I suspect those four schools will have a conference call very soon. What do we do? Take $15M and die a slow death? Join the B12 for a minimum of 7 years at $32M

Also OR is in the middle of a Presidency change according to Monty so they don’t have much power
The CFP isn’t nearly as important to schools as revenue. Wash P4/5 team gets the same payout going forward
IMHO this is horrible news for Cal, Stanford, WSU, OSU, CO and Utah. They could remain a conference by adding two either way SDSU and BSU. But now the revenue drops to $15M-$20M per school
