Also, keep in mind, ESPN could easily bankroll OU and Texas’s exit fees in the form of additional TV revenue to the Big 12. I’ve discussed this previously but that could be an extra $2-5M per school. Let’s say ASU, Oregon, UW, and Zona get the Big 12 to $36M and more is added on in TV comp in lieu of OUT’s exit fees and last year of GOR. If you are now comparing $40M in media revenue to $30M or $60M in overall distributions to $38M; do you stick around?
