I don't think anyone would disagree that victims shouldn't be punished...
The complicating part, as illustrated in the last victims case. She did acid before the assault took place.
As terrible as it is, does being a victim of the assault absolve her of the drug use? That's an issue I would like to see a future article tease out.
A lot of outrage seems to be just from the phrase, "Investigated by the honor code office". There are plenty of HC investigations, but that doesn't mean anything. I'd rather have an HC office that investigates instead of blindly handing judgements.

this is complex - I'm undecided. But you're saying - do drugs and get raped then you get to stay in school. Do drugs

in a false accusation case at least it gets to a hearing - in a "you're kicked out of school guarantee" then the rapist
