I've never been in a hostile situation like this
But I would imagine it is scary and confusing, I could see someone in such a situation being unsure whether an honor code violation has taken place, that's all. I would guess you're all over the place mentally in the middle of an assault
And the current policy for sure discourages girls from reporting if they think there's been an honor code violation.
