How would God judge these people? you break the rules that lead to something bad
happening to you. Does that bad thing then negate the choices you made to get there?
No, this is not an argument to mitigate the harm, etc of the crime. It's about you being responsible for your actions. A sin is a sin, right? even if it leads to someone doing something worse to you, right.
You choose to engage in petting for a couple of weeks then your partner can't restrain themselves and they forceably go all the way over your objects. Does that negate your choice to engage in petting?
