But I still disagree that the Honor Code Office needs to get involved. In fact I feel very strongly it doesn't. Involving the Honor Code office to investigate a rape victim implies that somehow the victim is at fault. If the perpetrator is being investigated, fine. If it turns out that it wasn't rape, then (and only then) maybe look into the alleged victim. Not before.
In the scenario you put forward you suggest kicking a rape victim off campus because there's not enough evidence to convict the accused rapist? Sorry, no. Never. That's backwards and horrible.
