How is someone going to convince you that you broke the Honor Code if you have a good knowledge of what the Honor Code says?
And how about we teach these students to appreciate the opportunity to attend BYU enough that they won't flirt with breaking the Honor Code?
I think a lot of the divide on this issue is people getting the feeling that others want to trivialize the Honor Code. I think the vast majority agree that the school Is a better place without drugs and alcohol and men and women respect each other especially in the realm of morality, but then there is always someone who wants an exception to the code to be made. For there not to be any real punishment for breaking it.
So which is it? Is the school a better place or not? If so, then what is the big problem with enforcing it?
