when I had a scout calling and that made me feel a little better about it (and took a couple of the kids away from my wife so that lightened her load a little bit.

2--Don't be gone all day Saturday. On some of them just have breakfast, break camp and be home before noon.

3--Get the fathers involved and don't go on every camp out. Hopefully you have an assistant scout leader that can bear some of the load. Don't feel like you have to be there every single time. Could be a good chance for the boys to step up when you are not there.
