You sound like a great YM leader to me. They need you in there for a lot more than just scouts. And considering the support you have from parents and others, I would say you're good. I can absolutely relate to how you feel. Your situation sounds exactly like mine. But I have been reassured that there are reasons they want me in there with the youth and those reasons are definitely not my vigor for scouting.
