IMO, there's rarely a good reason to get home from a campout later than 1pm

on Saturday. If you can get home at 11am, even better.

Consuming Friday night and virtually all of Saturday (e.g., getting him around 4pm) is unfair to the scout leaders, the families of the scouts, and the families of the leaders. Especially in the Mormon world when Sunday is not a day to do errands and other such activities.
