Kind of random but I've been thinking about KWhit and Chow
recruiting and I gotta say if Kyle Whittingham and Norm Chow walk into my son's living room and they tell him that they believe he has NFL talent but he will need to play X position, I force my kid to sign the Letter of Intent before it even leave Whit's hand.

Whittingham and Chow have proven for years and years that they know what they are doing and if they say that my son has a better chance of making the NFL by playing another position than he's presently used to, then so be it. I think Chow and Whit have proven that they know a thing or two about what it takes.

I can't say the same thing about Brandon Doman or Bronco. Time may tell but if a player like Chase Hansen DIDN'T sign with Utah and went to BYU, I would really question if the kid actually had the brains to play upper D1 football.

Another example is Josh Quezada. Whit saw he had some talent but if he wanted to play in the NFL, he was going to have to switch to Linebacker. Quezada thought he knew more than Whit and look at him now. He's struggling to get playing time on a team with below average running backs. If Whit told Quezada that he should switch to linebacker, then do it. I want to feel bad for him but he did it to himself. Ask Paul Kruger or Eric Weddle if they regret following Whit's advice to switch to defense. Ask Devonte Christopher if he regrets switching to receiver.

I thought I read a stat where Utah has sent 5 consecutive cornerbacks to the NFL. No other team has done that and Whit was doing it as a MWC school!

Can you imagine what Utah will be like in 5 years after getting a boost in PAC 12 recruiting?!? I really think Utah has the potential to be an Oregon type school. If Whit stays at Utah, I really believe he takes them even higher and gets them competing for a PAC 12 championship every year. I just hope he doesn't get an offer so big that has no choice but to leave.

Year 1 and Utah is already competing for a PAC 12 championship. Unbelievable!
