Unbelievable? Meh.
They're in a 6 team division where the best team was excluded from consideration. The worst team in the division is a newcomer to the conference with a history of losing to WAC(!) teams. CU was only added for its TV market & 'culture'.
Yet Utah still needs a lot of help to keep up with the 3 other division teams. They no longer control their destiny. And unlike those other teams competing for the division lead, Utah doesn't play either of the 2 best teams in the conference.
Count me unimpressed.
