I was just talking about recruiting. Bronco has been very successful at signing these guys, even though some don't end up academically eligible like the Utes current DL, shows how good he is at recruiting. Ryker Mathews was a big get for Bronco on the O-line because of how much he was leaning towards wearing red for most of the recruiting process. Personally I think Grimes was the best O-line coach BYU has had in a while and was sad to see him go but understood his desire to a higher pay and be in a better position to move up in the coaching industry. I have been impressed with the DL since Bronco took it back over and Gary Patterson was also when he told reporters that BYU's defense was the best defense he went up against last season. TCU played some good teams last year, plus the BYU's defense was statistically one of the worst, ranked 110ish, before Bronco took it over and I think it's final ranking nationally was in the high 20's.
