BYU was going to switch Chase Hansen to LB anyways...

...no brain surgery there. Kyle will do the same thing even though the kid is going to Utah and not to BYU because he wants to play QB.

For every lucky bone he finds (Kruger, Blechen, Christopher, etc) there are countless more who don't pan out. The difference is nobody remembers the guys who don't work out and so it only looks like he has a genius for finding hidden talent.

For each guy that pans out in a new position there are probably 4-5 others who fail or don't have stellar careers. Chad Manis, Griff Robles, are two recent ones off the top of my head.
