With even a lower GPA according to last yrs matrix. Combined with significant leadership and musical EC. Did you read his essays? Are you sure about the EE?
I feel your pain. My son didn't get accepted last yr with a 3.76 and a 30. With many of the EC checked off.
Your son will be successful at any college he goes to. He seems to be quite accomplished. Congrats on raising an outstanding YM.
