Either there was some kind of unfortunate incompetence that unfairly worked to the disadvantage of your outstanding son, or the essays in his admissions package didn't tell his inspiring story in the same effective way that you did.
i am moved and saddened by what seems to be an error in the process that resulted in such disappointment for him. I am sure your family's faith is such that he will successfully carry on and fulfill his potential by other means. Of course, the prospects to transfer in later are not only possible, but likely if that is what he wants.
