I don't blame you for questioning his narrative. But I can appeal to others on
this board who know him very well (his Sunday School teacher) that what I've written is "god's truth". I'm not embellishing his stats/accomplishments. At this point I'm hoping he was torpedoed on a recommendation, or he messed up the application, or something like that. At least that would make sense in my mind.
Our next son is a junior, 3.7-3.8 GPA, will have 11 AP classes, and scored a 33 on first ACT attempt. He's shaking in his boots right now.
