But nope, not true. Having a son that’s a recruit I’ve toured both very recently. Utah has some facilities nicer than BYU’s and some not as nice. For instance BYUs indoor practice facility is vastly nicer than Utah’s, not even close frankly. Weight rooms are pretty even. I thought Utah’s student athlete training table was nicer as a facility but the food didn’t seem to be any better. Utah’s football center was nicer although I wouldn’t say it was vastly better, but better so I’ll give them that. BYU’s track facilities are better, baseball and softball are better although Utah’s about to build a baseball stadium that will be comparable. BYU’s basketball, practice annex is about as nice as it gets.
Really they aren’t a whole lot different although I get that yewts want to perpetuate that but it really isn’t the case.
Oh and BYU has a lot better outdoor practice fields, and more of them.
