Even CBers have the perception/impression that BYU can't compete financially with P5 schools (including UU). There are people on here that share that 'think' that BYU is in complete disarray and that perception becomes a 'reality' in the minds of many recruits and other BYU fans. The perception that BYU is doomed in the long run because they aren't in a p5 conference isn't true, but feels like it is — based on many comments on here.
