LOTS of other regimes have done ethic cleansing. That is why there is a term for it ... it is soooo common.

The German's just figured a way to be more efficient using advanced technology ... the German's gased their victims dozens at a time for 1000s a day for millions over a year or two. The Japanese beheaded their victims one at a time, for 1000s a day leading to millions over a year or two. But it took ALOT of Japanese to do it one at time and only a few Nazis to do dozens at a time.

Same as Bombing versus Fire Bombing versus Atomic Bombing...

MANY more were killed by traditional bombing ... but it tooks 1000s of planes dropping millions of bombs over months to do it. Firebombing killed alot of people too, and was much more efficient, as it only took maybe 100 a plane in one night to destroy a quarter of Toyko or Dresden.

BUT ... NUCLEAR weapons ... kill all people with ONE bomb from ONE plane in seconds (milliseconds I guess). Death per Second is the real difference...

Nazi were more efficient ... Death per war criminal was quite high .... but other than I don't think the Nazis were unique in "ethic cleansing" or "genocide" or "barbarity" or anything like that....
