I have no idea about your daughters situation, but I've met so many girls who are a little overweight (again, not sure if this describes your daughter at all), but they quickly dismiss larger men. The fact of the matter is that larger men have a higher chance of being attracted to larger women.
Also, guys are frequently really scared of asking out a girl who's not interested at all. If your daughter can flirt / make hints that she'd like to go out with a guy, it makes it 100x easier for the guy to ask her out.
