I have a wonderful daughter attending BYU who is going through a really hard time because all her roommates and friends are constantly getting asked on dates but no boys ever ask her.
The irony is if they would get to know her they’d realize just how cool she is. She loves BYU football, she has spent her own money to go to Romania to take care of orphans and now Uganda to teach impoverished children English so they will have a chance to succeed later in life, she loves going to concerts, she is extremely financially responsible, she is the second oldest of 9 kids and is looking forward to being a wonderful mother some day, she is dang funny, I could go on.
But . . . she is not a size 0 so boys gloss over her.
If you put her “is-this-the-type-of-girl-I’d-marry” resume on paper then 10 out of 10 would pick her for the job.
Again, I hate boys! (For her sake)
