are playing P5's while this year Weber played only G5. It's not THAT skewed IMO. It's still pretty relative.
Either way, they're not much offensively IMO. With so many defensive guys for us to choose from from the FBS level, I'd like an FCS guy to be offensive. I want to see someone lighting it up offensively, someone creative and innovative. Why can programs like NDSt, Montana, NAU, and a bunch of other teams in the middle of nowhere rack it up offensively? I won't include teams in CA and the South that are in recruiting hotbeds. Much easier for James Madison to find even FCS recruits.
But if we go defensive, he could hire a less experienced guy like Poppinga, and then spend more on a proven OC who can handle things by himself. He'd have to. Otherwise we'd probably look like we do now.
