Doubt UNM.. but Nevada or CSU?
Maybe. Coaches that look to move up look for opportunities to have special seasons quickly. Look at Urban Meyer, Jim Tressell, Brian Kelly, Matt Wells and even Charlie Strong.
Not all of those situations are the same but all left after a special season.
My contact may be telling me what they want everyone to believe. I’m not sure. I want Kalani to succeed more than anything. He’s a good man and bleeds blue. He’s probably a lifer if he gets the ship righted as this is his dream job.
If he does get let go, Jay should surely be on the top of the list. I’m just not convinced he will take it.
