but that does not mean we are not recruiting from the same pool. They are better than us and have been for awhile so I would expect them to beat us out more often than not. You think if we had beaten Utah 9 times in a row players with any interest in BYU would be going to Utah? Yeah, maybe a few but a few more would be picking the cougars and others would be going out of state, because they wouldn't want to play second fiddle to BYU.

I've known recruits that do not want to stay close to home. You simply are not going to win most of those kids. Of the kids that want to stay close to home they are always going to gravitate to the best team in the state. Of the 30 players listed 5 are going out of state so to act like we are not competing with the Utes in the same recruiting area is simply silly.
