There is way more cross over than some are willing to admit. Honestly seems ridiculous to think otherwise. There are 37 players on Utah's roster from Utah. All 7 of the UT kids that show up in 247's Utah recruiting show BYU in the offer sheet either because the school was interested or there was an offer. Regardless almost every UT kid is BYU or Utah projected or committed. What portion of this Utah class is going to be from UT if they get 6 kids? I would guess 20%+. Sure BYU does not recruit some and does not offer some and vice versa. I'm guessing though that coach on both sides are reaching out and seeing if there is interest and if the circumstances are such that there seems to be none for a school and they already have an offer from the other school there is no offer made. Just guessing. No idea and sure Utah has a larger pool to recruit from but if Utah is not a target why is their roster so full of Utah kids? Hello, the state of Utah is a target for them and being the top of the state certainly helps. Another reason to cheer against them always.
