The risk of contracting the virus may be low, but the risk of having to sit out due to the virus (via contracting the virus directly or contract tracing) is much greater.  For someone who will eat, sleep, exercise, and do a bunch of relatively inconsequential little things just to get an extremely slight advantage, the decision to not get vaccinated (other than due to an existing medical condition) is really stupid.  Just means that politics is more important than winning games.
