Dude, look at all vaccines. Why do we get them? Because they make getting the actual disease less problematic. Shingles vaccination...you can still get the disease, but it will be more mild. Same with flu shot. Data shows the vaccine is safe and will prevent hospitalizations and death. Can get you sick--it's called developing antibodies and an immune response.
