StalwartBraveTrue Intervention Needed
Yeah, tea and crumpets part was tic…or was it
You’re right though that my feelings are similar to how I feel about people who buy houses they can’t afford, spend $200k getting a masters of fine arts in sculpture and cry about student loans, of folks who build houses on the outer banks, church members who complain about tithing, fat people who complain about needing to buy two airplane seats, and motorcyclists who don’t wear helmets. Among other things.

When you make a lifestyle choice that carries significant risk you should be willing to accept the consequences.

That’s the overwhelming sentiment I hear. Covid isn’t a big deal. It’s a mild cold. I’d rather get the disease and take my chances than get the jab. Well fine take your chances with it but realize you have to deal with the consequences.

No I don’t really think we should watch the idiots die but I don’t care if they can’t fly, can’t go to school, or their health insurance premiums are higher. It’s consequences people. It’s a choice you make and you can live with the consequences.

I’m a god-fearing Republican who believes in choice AND accountability. When was the last time any of the misinformation peddlers on cable news networks said that word, Accountability. I’m not truly saying you and your antivax friends deserve to suffocate to death while drinking tea and crumpets but I am ready to say there needs to be some accountability for being risky. I think BYUH, the NFL, and others got it right.

I think Cole Beasley can be pro-choice but he needs to own the consequences. Own the information he chooses to digest, own the risks, and own the consequences coming from his employer.

Accountability anyone?
