If people from Davis County feel some sort of weird noblesse oblige, then I salute you for your rectitude, silly though it may be, and suggest that you will make yourself an object of mockery if you don't suffer in silence.

And there is, apparently, something different about Utah County and the south end of Salt Lake County; it's not like only one team from that area could beat Davis; depending on the sport, a substantial number of teams from that area can beat Davis.

Take football for example; your complaint really falls on its face when you consider that Bingham, Corner Canyon, Skyridge, American Fork, Lone Peak, Orem and, depending on the year, some combination of Lehi, Westlake, and Pleasant Grove could beat Davis. It's not plausible that all the athletes in the entire state are moving to that area... And this whining is just making you look like a sore loser.
