You're missing the point. Vs Davis, many of the UT Co schools are better

You seem to think that there's this vast Utah County conspiracy to recruit and that's simply not the case - there are too many superior programs for recruiting to be the only (or even the leading) explanation.

Demographics are driving this, not recruiting. Northern Utah County and Southern Salt Lake County are the areas in the state where the affluent, established families currently live; high-achieving Dads 15-20 years into their careers, with a handful of high school and junior high-aged children and the disposable income to ensure that they have every advantage (including equipment, camps, and private training). And they're picking those areas because they offer a great mix of idyllic suburban life and proximity to high-paying jobs in SLC and Draper.

Recruiting isn't the reason that Davis has fallen behind; demographics are the answer. That's why Davis is behind each of:

  • Orem
  • Timpview
  • Pleasant Grove
  • American Fork
  • Lone Peak
  • Skyridge
  • Lehi
  • Corner Canyon
  • Bingham

In another 10-15 years, your time might come. As soon as development starts moving north instead of south, Davis County will start getting the sort of families that are currently making the South SL County and North Utah County so athletically dominant.
